We have all written goals that we don’t execute.
Hello? Eating better and exercising new years resolutions…
I’m a business strategist, I do this for a living and I’ve made this mistake as well.
Generally, we do this when we find an area in our lives that we don’t want to deal with because we think that it’s complicated, or not worthy or impossible to work on.
Sometimes we just look at that sparkly, huge, incredible goal and stare at its magnificence, and look the other way.
IT’S EASIER TO JUST SWEEP IT UNDER THE RUG SOMETIMES…
Some secrets to make goals that stick:
– Align them with your purpose
– Have a clear vision of where you want to go
– Make them measurable
– Make them easy to track
– Commit to tracking your progress
