Be OK with the “no”
Everyone needs to be comfortable with “NO”, if something is not a good fit, if it doesn’t feel ok, just say no. As a business owner, this is especially important. When you make an offer, a “no” means that you tried and did hard work today. When you say “no” to someone, you are being honest, transparent and honoring their time and effort. Do not leave “unfinished business”, be able to say no and get no! It will save everyone involved time and energy.
Disclaimer: This doesn’t mean that you can be a “flip-flopper” and leave people hanging whenever you get bored with something, be decisive, know what you want and go for it!
